This is another card for one of the cast of Castle, Seamus Dever (Detective Kevin Ryan), it doesn't have any stamping but I just loved the background paper. I hope he likes it.

Three Buttons card

This is a very quick and simple little card. It's just three square buttons layered on white off cuts and then layered on blue off cuts with a strip of blue ribbon underneath.

I really like it for its simplicity. I've also made these in red, green and purple.

Hippy girl with flowers

This cheery little card is for one of my best friends who's a very cheery lady.

It was very easy, I just stamped the girl onto white cardboard and coloured her in with Twinkling H2os. I then layered that onto pink card with a small border and then green card with a small border.

I then attached the fabric flowers with rhinestone studs and to the Happy Birthday paper and scattered them across the bottom of the card and attached the lot to the front of a white card.

I was very happy with the end result even if the girl is a bit wonky :-)

Duck with Flowers

As you may know I love ducks so when I saw this little guy I just had to have him.

I've decided to do birthday postcards for something different and this is the first one.

I was very happy with the result and don't you just love it when your scraps of paper are the right size?

Duckling stamped on white paper, embossed and coloured with watercolour pencils.

Layered on purple off cut and positioned on the left side of the card.

Kids Need to Read Christmas Card

Nathan Fillion & PJ Haarsma have a charity called Kids Need to Read to help supply books to kids so they have something to fire up their imagination.

Anyhow this is the card I sent them, I was pretty lazy this year and only made this card and the ones for my best friends.

The stamps are Stampin Up's 'holly jolly Christmas" with the Christmas wheel stamped across the red card the then layered with the green.

Celebrate the Season

Well here it is, card no two. I'll fully admit I shamelessly pinched this design from the Stampin Up 2009 catalogue.

I haven't done many off sided cards but I think I may be doing more of them, I really like this card. It was very easy too so good for bulk lots.

Red card cut to fit in a 6C envelope. Beige card stamped with small flower with watermark ink and embossed with clear powder. Layer it on the red card on the left hand side and cut to fit.

Celebrate the Season stamped in green on white card and clear embossed, cut out close to the wording and layer onto the top of the green card. Tie a narrow white ribbon around the bottom and knot it then layer to the right hand side of the card.

Santa...define naughty

Well here it is, my first Christmas card for 2009! I love the cheekiness of this card as I'm sure I'm on Santa's "naughty" list.

Dolly Mama stamped on white watercolour paper and coloured with water coloured pencils. Layered on green card then onto red DL sized card. Trimmed with red gingham ribbon.

Fishing Bear card

This cute little fellow was for a mate of mine's birthday and as he's an avid fisherman it was just so perfect for him.

I just folded a green card down to fit into a DL sized envelope and stamped the bear on water coloured paper and coloured him in. For something a bit different I tore the edges and stamped the wording on a bit of scrap paper and punched it out.

This little cutie was for one of my best friend's birthday. I was so happy with how it turned out.

Hot pink card folded in half and pink checker paper layered over the top. The chicks were stamped on paper and the brick fence carefully lined up under them then it was all coloured in with watercolour pencils and cut out.

The wording was just stamped onto a piece of off cut and layered on hot pink and off set at the top of the card.

Glow of Christmas

Isn't this little guy just gorgeous? I stamped the string of lights three times across the card then lined the cat up so he looks looks like he's leaning on them. They were then clear embossed and the lights coloured with twinkling H20's and the cat in watercolour pencils.

The wording was stamped underneath in red and embossed in sparkly glitter and then the card was corner punched with a small star design and layered onto the red card.

This little guy makes me smile, he's just so joyous and perfect for Christmas. He's just stamped onto brown paper and cut out. His heart and nose are painted with red Kindy Glitz and left to dry.

The Merry Christmas is a ribbon cut to size and adhered to the front of the card with double sided tape.

I was really pleased with how this card turned out. While it’s very simple I think that is part of its charm, it’s simple and uncluttered.

I have a lot of trouble doing men's cards but I really like this one. Bronze shimmer card folded to make a DL card. Brown card overlay with punched corners and a golfing beer coloured with watercolour pencils and adhered to the front.

Golfing wording stamped underneath and "Happy Birthday" in silver inside with a golf bag in the lower corner.

A Woman's Right to Shoes

This is one of those cards that makes me smile every time I see it.

It's very easy to make. Fold an A4 piece of card into thirds (or use double sided paper cut to size as I did) and cut an angle out of the right two thirds.

"A Woman's Right to Shoes" [Indadinkado 92525] stamped in black and clear embossed on the middle third.

High heeled shoe stamped on white off cut and layered on a piece of pink off cut from the double sided paper. Disco Ball beadazzle beads stuck on the heel to give it a glitzy feel.

I really like this little guy, I originally bought him to decorate my envelopes but he's a bit big for that.

Three Green Trees

This is one of those cards that turned out a lot better than I expected.

It was very easy to make. Christmas tree [Stamping Up Season of Joy] embossed in lime sparkly embossing powder across the front of a shimmery white card which was layered on green and adhered to the card with four green brads and narrow white ribbon tied off in the left brads.

Poker birthday card

This card is for my Dad's 69th birthday. Its very easy to make - just diamond back ground paper with poker card stickers fanned out and a good luck disc in the bottom corner.

Happy Birthday Dad was printed on my label maker and cut down to size.

My Study

I thought you may like to see where all the creativity you see on this site comes from. This is my study. As you can see its a disorganised mess but surprisingly I do know where to most stuff.

The black draws have all of my paper and are a god send, typically I need some more of them but I guess that is the nature of craft, never enough storage space LOL

In the corner is my book case which is overflowing so I need a bigger one so I may put that one in the lounge room to give me more room in here. I'd like to get some of those cubicle book cases but haven't really looked into it yet.

The clear plastic draws have all my stamps in them but I will have to buy some more very soon as I'm running out of room again. I got these at Howard's Storage World and really have to get some more as they are great for stamp storage as I can only get one layer in so as soon as I open the draw I can see what is in there, so long as I put it back of course LOL

The storage trolley must be one of my best buys. I got it at The Reject Shop and its fantastic and keeps things within easy reach which I find is essential for craft work as things get put away and never re-surface.

Last but of course not least, my computer desk where I do all my card making. Yep its all done in front of the computer usually while I'm emailing or talking on instant messenger to friends. I'm the ultimate multi tasker LOL

Anyhow this is my study so when ever you get an email from me, this is where it comes from.

I am so pleased with how this card turned out. Its for my cousin Lana's 21st tomorrow and she's a purple girl.

The paper is scrapbook paper cut down to fit in a DL envelope and then folded into thirds. The top two thirds were cut on an angle to show off the layers.

Penny Black love bubbles [2556J] was coloured in using watercolour pencils and layered onto light and then dark purple. Happy Birthday was stamped in purple glitter on the middle layer and three purple stars on the back third.

Doggie birthday card

I made this card for my best friend Lyn's birthday, she's a dogie girl as you can imagine.

The back ground is scrap booking paper and the dog prints are embossed and sparky. The sticker is all dog type words and the stamp says "Friends have a wonderful way of reminding us of what really matters" as we've been friends since I was four.

The oven clove was stamped in black onto scrap green card and cut out. A black cloths line was strung across the card for the glove to be pegged to it. I had to remove the peg for the scan.

OK I know these aren't cards but I thought they were gorgeous. I am so pleased with the result.

I bought the boxes flat and added the co-ordinating strip of paper layered on black paper and the white/gold ribbon.

The tags were just off cuts from the same paper mounted onto black card and the corners hole punched.
